Aruba At Last!

I took a family vacation to Aruba recently... And it was so amazing!

Great Times!!!

And so it begins...

I was fortunate to do a photo shoot featuring my jackets with an amazing photographer Keith Selby. I made this blazer about 3-4 years ago but it is still one of my fav! I just love all the details in this hounds tooth blazer. My shorts are Abercrombie & Fitch and my shoes are Jeffrey Campbell. Oh and my lipstick is MAC (ruby woo)!

I found the fabric for this jacket at a local fabric store in Astoria and fell in love. Then I added the leather sleeves to complete the look. I made the shirt I'm wearing underneath, andI got the earring from a small boutique in DUMBO.

Haute and Low F/W Look Book

This is the look book from my first collection of my line Haute and Low. My younger sister Moniqua modeled for me and did an awesome job!

I wanted to create a line that fully reflected me as a fashion designer. My closet is filled with articles of clothes that can be either dressed up, or dressed down. So I wanted a line full of pieces that I could wear to brunch with friends, or a night out with my BF. My line is made for women who are confident,very bold and strong!
